Well, tomorrow morning is the first day for alot of stuff. The new job is 5 minutes from the house, so I'll be attempting the long put off workouts in the mornings now, before I go to work, instead of after. After spending 9+ hours in an office and about 3 hrs on the road every day, more activity was the last thing I was looking for. In any case, this new schedule should help get me back down to playing weight.
Secondarily, we have the new/old gig. So excited about finally being able to go in and get this platform humming the way it should have 3 years ago, you have no idea. There was always soo much room for improvement here that we were prevented from executing, but the glitch has been fixed, and now it's time to get to it. I know the fellas are excited too, there is so much good energy flowing around that office now. Can't wait for the morning to arrive.
My first task is to create the advertising modules/platforms to make the whole deal profitable. Big job, but we will be learning about alot of the ways that the big guys are utilizing ad space on the web, and how we can leverage that to our advantage. Looking forward to see what we can pull together from what currently what exists out there. I looked at this stuff aver a year ago, and there were some cool opportunities for interacions with the bigs, and I would have to assume that those offerings have only gotten better over time.
